Turf to Tarmac, a HALO Charity GALA
Five years ago, Turf to Tarmac set out to redefine what a charity gala could be. What began as a bold idea has grown into one of Southern Alberta's most anticipated fundraising events, bringing together community leaders, local businesses, supporters, and friends of HALO Air Ambulance for an unforgettable evening of connection, celebration, and impact.
On September 26, 2026, nearly 300 guests gathered at the HALO Hangar for the 5th Annual Turf to Tarmac Gala.This year's event featured a one-of-a-kind six-course dining experience created by our Chefs Collective, a moving patient story, exceptional live entertainment by the talented Hailey Benedict, and a special tribute to the first four years of Turf to Tarmac. Together, guests, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters transformed our active aviation hangar into an extraordinary venue for a night dedicated to saving lives.
Most importantly, the evening was a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when a community comes together in support of a common cause.
