Grenner Veilleux

Director, Board of Directors

Grenner's Story.

Grenner Veilleux is a Project Manager at Jayco Builders in Bow Island, Alberta. A carpenter by trade, Grenner’s current role touches every part of the building process. He handles sales, service, estimating, design, and works closely with engineers, municipalities, and safety codes officers. He enjoys creative problem-solving and finding practical, innovative ways to meet each project's needs while keeping functionality and visual appeal in mind.

Grenner has been involved with HALO Air Ambulance for more than a decade. What began as helping out with computer skills grew into a deeper commitment after he attended a board meeting to learn more. Since then, he has become a dedicated member of the board and Fundraising Committee, known for bringing attention to the finer details and contributing meaningfully to discussions and decisions.

With his background as a volunteer firefighter, Grenner brings valuable insight into the realities of rural emergency response. He is passionate about HALO’s role in supporting first responders and excited about new tools like the water bucket that will enhance the organization’s capabilities during wildfire season. Witnessing HALO’s growth from a small, struggling operation to a thriving and essential service has been a point of pride and motivation in his ongoing commitment.

Grenner’s dedication to community service extends beyond HALO. He has volunteered with “Blues at the Bow,” a local music venue in Bow Island, for over 15 years and currently serves on their board as well. Outside of volunteering, he enjoys music, being creative, and spending time with friends and family.

Grenner's one word to describe HALO? HIFFYL (lol) Those that know, will know!  He also said Compassion; as HALO represents care, hope, and the strength of community in times of crisis.

“With your support, HALO continues to provide life-changing service across our region. I see how this program impacts patients, families, and emergency personnel. HALO is a symbol of hope, and it would not exist without you. Thank you for standing with us.”
