Pamela's Story.
Pamela Kunz brings more than 25 years of leadership and management experience to the HALO Board of Directors. Her career has spanned multiple industries, where she has owned businesses, led large teams, and served on numerous boards, including nonprofit organizations.
Pamela joined HALO’s Board of Directors in 2022, driven by her desire to be actively involved in shaping the growth and future of the program. For her, board service is about more than governance — it’s about rolling up her sleeves, supporting events, contributing ideas, and being part of a dedicated team that shares a common mission.
As a member of HALO’s Fund Development Committee, Pamela plays a key role in helping create new and exciting opportunities for supporters to contribute, while ensuring donor dollars are used thoughtfully and effectively. She is especially inspired by HALO’s future and the life-changing impact it has on Southern Alberta, something she sees firsthand when speaking with people whose lives have been touched by the service.
Outside of her professional and board responsibilities, Pamela enjoys spending time with her family, contributing to other community boards, and working with her community-minded company to support local initiatives.
When asked to describe HALO in one word, she chose passionate, a quality she sees in the CEO, the administrative team, the pilots, the Board, and the loyal supporters who keep HALO moving forward.
