Alex Zecher

Born in London, Ontario, Alex grew up in Calgary and later lived on Vancouver Island before pursuing his passion for aviation. Inspired by friends who worked as wildland firefighters, he was drawn to the helicopters they flew and the stories they told, sparking a career path that quickly became a lifelong passion.

 

With more than a decade of experience, Alex values the close-knit helicopter community and the knowledge shared between pilots and mentors. He joined HALO in 2023, bringing both skill and heart to the team.

 

When he’s not flying, Alex enjoys spending time with his daughter, snowboarding, surfing, mountain biking, and being outdoors. A fun fact about him: he once aspired to compete as an Olympic lightweight rower.
