Bruce's Story.
Bruce Rieger has been a committed member of the HALO Air Ambulance Board of Directors since 2007. A lifelong farmer from Southern Alberta, Bruce brings essential knowledge of rural life and a strong understanding of the unique needs faced by remote communities. His voice ensures HALO continues to stay closely connected to the people and places it serves.
Now semi-retired, Bruce has spent his life contributing to both agriculture and community leadership. He served with Drowning Ford for over 30 years, including 20 years as president, demonstrating the same steady dedication and grassroots perspective he brings to HALO. As a member of the Fund Development Committee, Bruce supports every aspect of the organization’s mission and is always ready to lend a hand.
Bruce is proud to be part of something that helps people when they need it most. To him, HALO isn’t just about helicopters—it’s about neighbours looking out for each other and making sure help is never too far away.
One word to describe HALO? Life-saving. That says it all.
“Thank you for everything. Your support makes HALO possible and keeps this lifesaving program in the air.”
