Paul Carolan

Paul Carolan has been a part of the HALO Team since 2018 and has served as the Chief Executive Officer and senior executive leader. Paul is a fierce advocate for an equitable helicopter air ambulance system that is genuinely patient-centric. Paul brings a depth of fund development experience and is passionate about the opportunities to strengthen existing relationships, build new relationships, and enhance program delivery. Paul believes the strength of the HALO Air Ambulance Program and the people who live, work, play, and invest across our response area are fundamentally interconnected. Under Paul's leadership, HALO continues to work towards a sustainable and diversified fund development model that provides assurances against changes in the economy and government.

Paul continues at HALO at a critical time as the progression toward a truly sustainable program continues. HALO has ambitious program and fund development goals, and Paul continues to build our organization and bring it to the next level. He provides leadership and strategic guidance for our world-class helicopter program. Paul believes that to achieve our purpose in today's healthcare and economic landscape we must push harder, welcome innovation and creativity, lead change and be more efficient. We have a responsibility to adapt and evolve.

In Paul's spare time, he is an active community volunteer, with decades of service in sports coaching, search and rescue, ski patrol, emergency preparedness planning, and disaster response. When he isn't spending his free time volunteering in the community, Paul is an avid backcountry hiker, climber, skier, and camper - he takes his favorite hiking partner Archie, a German Sheperd/Lab, with him everywhere.
