Tonight at the Bow Island Market in the Park, Steve Wikkerink, Reeve for the County of Forty Mile and Chantel Timmons, Councillor for the County of 40 Mile presented Co-Chair Dale Thacker, HALO Board Member Grenner Veilleux and Treasurer Lorraine Dykstra with $50,000! Steve told the crowd that they heard our message about needing funding and as HALO is a necessity in our area, Council voted unanimously to double the amount of their annual donation this year! Thank you to the County of 40 Mile for the most generous donation that will keep HALO “In Flight For Your Life”!
