As we start the new year, we reflect on 2019 and look forward to opportunities for 2020!
2019 was an incredible year for HALO Air Ambulance, one that has many of us asking, “how will we top that?!” These past 12 months have seen the HALO program surpass milestone after milestone. We set records in fundraising, public awareness, training & outreach events and calls for service. We attended our very first dedicated meeting with the Health Minister; Tyler Shandro and we were invited to meet with STARS Air Ambulance to talk about how we can better collaborate in serving Alberta.
2019 was our first full year with HALO-1 on line. HALO-1 changed everything for the HALO Air Ambulance Program by increasing our capacity significantly and making it possible to take a critically ill or injured patient directly to Calgary to receive the very best care available.
